As a principal services contractor to NAVSEA and its field activities, Northrop Grumman is recognized for cost efficiency in delivering quality products; effective management of large diverse subcontracting teams; and outstanding expertise in systems engineering, test and evaluation (T&E), installation and/or technical support, and system and/or equipment configuration management (CM) support.
Quality Assurance Program:
MBC uses an integrated project management and quality assurance process that combines industry standard project management practices and quality assurance activities. This allows for a robust project management framework to be stood up for each project, projects to be controlled accordingly, while utilizing quality assurance practices to drive on time, with budget, and valuable deliverables and services. MBC uses a four part method to monitor, control, and maximize project efficiency. This approach is applied to both MBC activities and team member activities as well.
MBC will delineate the appropriate levels and periodicity of required reviews, audits, testing, processes and standards to which our team member must adhere. Most importantly, we will clearly delineate in the contractual agreement(s) a statement of work that the team member, along with the terms and conditions, that will drive team member behavior. Included in this documentation will be acceptance criteria for team member-produced products and the flow down of any and all cost savings incentives or other economic incentives as applicable.
MBC’s process for managing and mitigating potential problem areas is part of our aforementioned quality assurance process. This repeatable process allows for a consistent approach for managing projects proactively and correcting issues that are discovered. Having a repeatable process that can be utilized thorough the entire company allows for in-depth understanding of both project management and quality processes, how to build controls and quality into day-to-day activities, and provide cost savings at the same time. Sound project management and quality assurance features means MBC delivers right the first time, minimizing rework, cost overruns, and delays.
